Jorge J. Leal, MD, is a 1980-graduate of the School of Medicine at East Central University in the Dominican Republic. He relocated to the United States, where he completed his residency in anesthesiology and one-year fellowship in pain medicine at SUNY. He remained at SUNY as an instructor in pain medicine assistant professor of anesthesiology and pain medicine and co-director of the pain treatment center. Dr. Leal attained board certification in anesthesiology and pain management with the American Board of Anesthesiology. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, recreational boating, golfing, and woodworking. He speaks both English and Spanish. For more information about Jorge J.
